The Module 1 test takes around 20 minutes and is conducted in a safe off-road environment.

Whilst on the Module 1 test you are to conduct yourself as if on a public highway, carrying out all necessary checks to keep yourself safe, and avoiding contact with all marker cones.

You will be asked to perform a series of exercises, three slow and three faster exercises two of which are speed related.

It is important to remember that you are on test from the second you get on the bike until the second you get off

The examiner will watch you until you have secured the bike.

Below is a short video to show the process.
